My Italy Travel Make Up Bag

Hello my lovelies.…we are officially in summer now with today being the longest day. Hope you have been having a fantastic June so far. For those of you who may follow me on instagram you would have noticed that we took a little trip to italy a couple of months ago.  The weather was so so lovely and I wanted to pack items in my makeup bag that would complement my tan and give me a golden goddess look 🙂 I decided to share some of the items that I took with me to italy, you can’t go wrong with any of these products, they are all perfect for summer 🙂

Anastasia Beverley Hills Nicole Guerriero Palette

As some of you may know I’m a huge fan of highlighter and especially the brand Anastasia beverley hills. I picked up this highlighting palette when it launched on the uk abh site. This palette was a collaboration with the youtube influencer Nicole Guerriero.I absolutely love this palette, the sleek blush pink packaging, the shades, the texture, just everything is gorgeous. I did find that they had a little fall out but usually with something so pigmented there normally is. They are so versatile that you could mix some of these shades together for highlighter or even use them on the eyes. The palette retails for £39 and may still be available on her website here

Theres nothing more in my makeup bag that I enjoy than eyeshadow and mascara. I absolutely love bronze and golds in the summer. A mascara that  lengthens and gives volume to my lashes is always a winner and a colour that gives your eye look an instant pop are some of the things I gravitate towards.

Kathleen Lights Where The Light  Is

I picked up this four piece quad from Colourpop. Its a collaboration with youtube influencer Kathleen Lights. I have been watching Kathleen for many years now, her personality, her charisma and style are always so fab.I love how she talks not only about high end products but also those that are affordable, just like Colourpop. Colourpop is an american brand and I think for international shipping to be free you have to spend around $50. That’s not bad though because their products are AMAZING!! The foursome contains four eyeshadows in Blaze, Cornelious, Glow and Kathleen Lights. In this set you get two matte and two supershock eyeshadows. I absolutely love this set and it is designed for wear during the day but you could totally pull this off at night too. The shade Kathleen Lights is absolutely  gorgeous and is definitely a colour I wear a LOT!! On the Colourpop website it is described as a bright gold copper. This retails for $18 and if you wish to take a look at the product  online click here

Stila Magnificent Metals Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadow

I never really owned much from Stila before these came out. I love anything that gives a pop of colour to my eyes, whether its a powder shadow, glitter or pigment. I believe these shadows had so much HYPE when they first came out!! Are they worth the hype????? HELL YES!! These are by far some of the best glitters I have used trust me. I picked up the shade bronzed bell to take on holiday with me and you only need the tiniest amount on your brush or finger too. You can wear these alone or over eyeshadow to create a  more intense look. They retail for £23 on the Stila UK website, you can also pick these up from Beauty Bay and Cult Beauty

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Mascara

I have always got to put a Charlotte Tilbury product in my posts right,it’s traditional for me to do now I think.  I got this mini Legendary lashes as part of an order I placed. When they released online Charlotte was giving these to customers as samples for us to try. I have not purchased a full size one yet as I have so many of these mini mascara’s to use up first. I love this mascara, it lengthens my lashes and makes my eyes look more awake. I already have long lashes anyway and with one application of this VA VA VOOM!! My lashes look incredible and I’m not saying that just because it’s a Charlotte Tilbury product this mascara actually works.  This mascara retails for £25 and you can take a look online here

Too Faced Sweet Peach glow

I have always wanted to have perfect chiseled cheekbones and a contour like no other. Before I went on holiday I was so unsure of what contour products to take with me. Everyone knows how much I love my Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar bronze and glow that I actually decided to leave that at home this time.  I wanted to take a product that had not only a bronzer and sculpt shade, a blush and a highlighter all in one. Again at the airport you don’t want to be stopped for extra baggage so I tried to pack makeup items I know I love and will use whilst I’m there. I’m such a sucker when it comes to packing make up that I could pack my whole vanity….UMMMM nope just kidding. The Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow stood out to me, it not only smells like peaches but the shades are beautiful . You get one highlighter, a blush with the sweet peach sign on and a bronzer. I couldn’t put this down on holiday and with my tan it looked so surprisingly good. The highlight shade is a soft peachy champagne gold and when paired with a cream highlighter underneath it’s so stunning. I would definitely recommend this product if you haven’t got it already. I picked mine up from debenhams but I can’t remember the price. I don’t think they have it anymore but if you can find it online pick it up….

Last but not least I have to choose some lip products right. Whenever I go on holiday I try to choose a more bold lip, something a bit more brighter then the normal nude shades. I like to take a gloss with me to wear during the day or over my lip colours at night time. For our italian getaway I chose to take two lipsticks and a gloss with me. All of these products are Charlotte Tilbury. I wanted products that were comfortable, gorgeous and have  longevity to them. As we were going on day trips the colours I chose were so lush that even locals were asking me what are you wearing on your lips. They were none other than sexy sienna and miranda may. On Charlotte’s website miranda may is described as a bright coral matte lipstick and sexy sienna is described as a coral lipstick in a matte formula. Charlotte’s lipsticks retail for £24.00 each. I also took away with me one of her luxe colour lasting lip lacquer’s in the shade ibiza nights. Ibiza nights is like a bronze golden shade that you can wear alone or over your lip colour. They are designed to last 6 hours, with a creamy texture that plumps and boosts your pout. If your looking for a bold statement lip colour then try these..
