Hello lovelies, hope your doing really well!! The weather here in the UK has been absolutely gorgeous, just can’t believe how warm it is right now. Summer is most definitely here. With the seasons changing I wanted to inject some colour into my photos. I love the look of these pink artificial petals, you can pick these up from any homestore. I just think the shade of pink goes so well with the blush and gold tones 🙂
So recently for powder I have been using drugstore alternatives like rimmel and maybelline as my most loved powder had ran out. I have had like three or four of these powders prior to the one I just picked up and this is the Charlotte Tilbury airbrush flawless finish micro perfecting powder in the shade medium 2. I mean the packaging alone is just so so beautiful and the product inside is pure perfection. When Charlotte talks about this powder and says that it is finely milled it very much is, it just glides on like butter and doesn’t give you that caked on look like some powders do. With a gentle hand it looks lovely when swept across the nose, forehead, chin and other areas that need to look mattified. On Charlotte’s website she gives application tips and says to use it with her light wonder foundation. I actually use her magic foundation and this powder over the top looks incredible, it gives such a nice flawless finish. The medium shade is perfect for me and in my eyes goes well with the shades 6 and 7 in the magic foundation. For £33 and at 8g yes it’s expensive but it’s definitely worth the splurge in my opinion!! The only con I have with this powder is that if you use it often you can easily finish this compact within a number of weeks. I decided to purchase another as I just couldn’t be without it and will use it on off duty days and for occasions..
NOW let’s just take a minute to appreciate the most gorgeous highlighter I have ever seen!! Ever since I discovered Charlotte Tilbury’s makeup I have heard some mixed reviews about the Bar of Gold highlighter. OOOPSS Im sorry but I swatched this highlighter before I wrote this post, I actually worn it for an occasion yesterday and I love it, the glow is so so lovely . I believe this product came out in 2015 and had been out of stock for a long time. I wanted to get my hands on this and when Charlotte announced this product was being restocked I was so so HAPPY!! I think it was restocked in January of this year, I can’t quite remember so I managed to get my hands on it in this mini haul. For £32.00 this is described as Charlotte’s best selling illuminating highlighter. You can use it over eyeshadow as well to enhance your makeup look
Lastly I picked up another hot lips lipstick in the shade kim kw!! I have purchased this once before and this is the lipstick I use the most from Charlotte’s line. I didn’t want to be without it when my current one runs out. This lipstick truly is stunning, the packaging, feel, colour and comfort of this product is by far one of the best lip products I have ever tried and owned. I mean what’s not to love about this shade, it really is a true nude. In homage to Kim Kardashian West Charlotte named this lipstick after her as we all know kim k loves nude make up looks 🙂 Charlotte describes this as a pinky beige nude and it retails for £23.00. The thing about these lipsticks as described on the website contain light diffusing pigments that give your lips a brilliant, luminous, multi dimensional finish. The lipsticks are so so creamy and just glide on making your lip application look so effortless…I would definitely recommend all of Charlotte’s products to you but this lipstick sure is holy grail for me…
Have you tried any of Charlotte Tilbury products, how did you find them???
