Hello lovelies…this month’s favourites has been so easy to put together!! Usually I talk about beauty products but with this month’s favourites I have decided to add some skincare products too. I have been LOVING these products so far so they will continue to be a HUGE love of mine 🙂
There’s no surprise that this month’s loves contain eyeshadow and highlighters. My favourite make up products by far are anything that go on my eyelids and highlight my cheekbones. I love a pigmented eyeshadow and a highlighter that just gives you a pretty glow. For the month of June I have been using these products non stop, some are new to my collection and some are products I have had in my collection that I decided I must start using..to be honest “Im shook” (if your a JS follower you will know what that means!!)
Tanya Burr My Paradise Eyeshadow Palette
For my go to eyeshadow palette this month I seem to have been reaching more for the my paradise palette from Tanya Burr Cosmetics. Tanya’s products have been really impressing me lately especially the shades in this palette. They are perfect for everyday and as Tanya describes on her packaging “Inspired by rose gold sunsets” it really is a beautiful palette. The shades have a pineapple on them but once you start using the shades they easily come off(this doesn’t bother me much) The packaging is beautiful too enclosed in a rose gold design with pineapples on the front. The shade I have been loving the most has got to be “miami sunrise”. I wear this all over the lid either on it’s own or blended with other colours. You can pick this palette up from superdrug for just £5.99. I really do recommend this product to anyone that just wants to throw on some colour especially if you have a busy day ahead of you. I love using this palette for work and to be honest I have been reaching for this more than my high end eyeshadow palettes and that’s saying something…
Jeffree Star Skin Frost Highlighting Powder
I have watched Jeffree Star on youtube for quite some time now. I only have a few of his products and if I remember rightly I picked up this product more than a few months ago and hadn’t used it. Recently i have been wanting to use products in my collection that don’t go unloved. The shade is “peach goddess” and OMG it’s gorgeous. Throughout the month of June this is a highlighter that has been in my everyday makeup bag. The colour is so nice especially for summer and the pigmentation of it is unreal. I got mine from beauty bay and at the moment there is discount on his highlighters. Beauty Bay are offering these highlighters to customers for £15.30. I definitely want to try more of the shades in his collection. Jeffree also has his summer collection out NOW on beauty bay too…
Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold Highlighter
Now it wouldn’t be a favourites post without a product from Charlotte Tilbury. I have talked about this product before on my blog and believe this product has been out since early 2015. Once it launched it sold out really quick and had been out of stock for such a long time. Charlotte then announced last winter that this product would be coming back in stock in January of this year. I think I picked up this product in the last couple of months or so. I really wanted to get my hands on it, yes it’s such a small compact and for £32 your probably thinking WHAT!! But seriously guys this product is a MUST HAVE!! It really is a luxurious product. The Charlotte Tilbury skin gliding highlighter is still in stock on her website HERE. I really love this product and not just because its a charlotte tilbury item but because it looks divine on the skin. I wore this for a few occasions we went to in June and loved how it looked with the rest of my face makeup. I even put some of the product over my eyelids and it looked beautiful. I definitely recommend this product, if there’s one item your going to purchase from her brand get this, you won’t be disappointed!!
From T-B are the Tanya Burr palette shades in Champagne cocktail, Tranquility, Miami sunrise and Hammock. Fifth shade is the Jeffree Star highlighter in Peach Goddess and lastly the Bar of Gold highlighter.
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
Now this is a product I ummed and arghhhedd about. I seen so many youtube videos on this and so many instagram photo’s that I decided to see what all the HYPE was about. I actually asked my mum for this at christmas time and yes guys that’s how long I had it still packaged up. So sorry but I recently I was looking for a cleanser that will help my breakout/blemish prone skin and remembered I had this to try. I went back on youtube and watched some reviews on this and since I have used it I have been really impressed. Throughout the month of June this is the only cleanser I have been using and OMG how good is this. I have suffered with problem skin since I was a teenager and I know four weeks is not a long time to use a product but it’s long enough to know that’s it helping. I really do LOVE this product and did not expect myself to love it!! This is definitely a product I’m going to keep using and funnily enough asked for this for my birthday too so Liz your doing something right!! I think you can pick this up online and of course in store at stores like boots, house of fraser, selfridges etc
Zoella Pretty Polished Sugar Scrub
If you guys follow me on Instagram you would have seen my HUGE zoella haul that I did recently. I had been looking for a exfoliator for my skin and OMG i’m blown away by this. Out of all the exfoliators I’ve used this product has really impressed me and I have been using this at least once a week. I picked this up off feel unique for just £4.90 and trust me it’s bloody brilliant. It makes your skin so soft and perfect for any rough/dry skin. I use this mainly on my feet as I suffer with dry areas and once this has sunk in it made my skin feel so soft. I am really HAPPY with this product and even used it on my elbows, legs and arms too. It’s great to use before tanning too. Guys it smells AMAZING too. I’m going to grab more from feel unique too especially for the price…
Now for my last two makeup products these are both items from Charlotte Tilbury and without a doubt these shades are the most used in my collection. The colour chameleon eyeshadow pencil in bronzed garnet is a colour I use mainly on my bottom lashline. When smudged in it complements the Tanya Burr eyeshadow palette in my paradise. This really is a gorgeous colour that could also be used over the lid too. Penelope pink lipstick is from the hot lips range and retails for £24.00. It is currently sold out but will be in stock soon. This has been my go to lipstick and I’m almost out. I love the shade so much and is perfect when paired with the stiletto or seduction lip glosses by Charlotte too. You can tell how well loved these two products are especially the lipstick. However I do have a replacement of penelope pink because it’s just too god damn beautiful. In homage to penelope cruz it really is a gorgeous shade..go pick one if you can 🙂
Now this wouldn’t be a favourites with a favourite in music right. So here’s a track I have been loving throughout the month of June. This is Wild thoughts featuring Rihanna 🙂 Enjoy guys..
