Festive Gold Eyes

Hey lovelies…It’s getting so close to Christmas and I have another Christmas meal this weekend, this time with friends. Looking forward to seeing them for some christmas celebrations. I have been reading through Tanya Burr’s Tanya’s Christmas book and came across her makeup looks. I adore a gold eye during the festive season and felt so inspired by the look she published in her book. Today’s post is a round up of products I love or going to try from Tanya’s cosmetic line….enjoy xo

Most of you know I love Tanya and her products. In my opinion they are just as good as any high end products in the beauty industry. The cost of the products are so so good especially for the quality you get too. Two of my most favourite products from Tanya’s line have to be the Hollywood Eye palette and this years My Paradise eyeshadow palette. I absolutely love eyeshadow and must have dozens of palettes. These ones form Tanya are ones I grab on a daily, there so easy and quick to use. You can still create a gorgeous gold eye with the shadows you get. The Hollywood Eye palette is more of a staple gold eye and the My Paradise Palette is more of a rose gold eye look. You can also use shadows from two palette’s to create an eye look, you don’t have to stick to the shadows in one palette. I absolutely adore these two palette’s and can’t wait to use them more over the festive season…

Tanya has now released eyeshadow pencils or sticks, up to you guys to decide what you call them. One of these eyeshadow pencils came in the NEW day palette from Tanya’s christmas range for 2017. The other two eyeshadow pencils are in the Beauty And The Feast Collection again for christmas 2017. I love eyeshadow pencils and how convenient they are. If your in a hurry these are perfect, glide them on the lid and blend. You can also use these as a base for any other shadow. I swatched these three shades on my hand and they are stunning. I did not want to add the swatches in this post because if you guys have not tried them yet I wanted you to be surprised by the quality of them. They are stunning, the colour and the pigment is beautiful. I am so so impressed by these eyeshadow sticks. In my opinion they are just as good as the colour chameleon pencils from Charlotte Tilbury. For me to compare a product to those by Charlotte must be saying something. Two of the pencils almost look the same and i thought to myself I wonder if they have put the pencil that’s in the Beauty And The Feast Collection in the Day palette. They haven’t both pencils are different. These are the types of colours I love to wear not just for the festive season but throughout the year too…

Tanya also released some cream eyeshadows and they feel so buttery. The palette is called Too Tempting and it comes in the Beauty And The Feast Collection. Im yet to try these on my eyes but I swatched them in this post here if you want to see the shades guys. I love this little palette, its the perfect gift for anyone starting out in makeup. Definitely a product I’m going to try very soon. Tanya has also released a black eyeliner. You can’t go wrong with a black eyeliner and it actually feels really creamy. You can tell when an eyeliner is going to be good, you just know…

Lastly I was lucky enough to receive Tanya’s new mascara in mail. Her Selfie Lash Mascara is absolutely amazing!! For drugstore price you definitely don’t get drugstore quality. I’m quite surprised really as this could replace some of my higher end mascara’s. I really am in love with this, it doesn’t clump your lashes together, it lengthens and gives volume to your lashes too. Tanya has said you can wear just one coat or build it up, I definitely build it up as I like my lashes to be more voluminous…

These are just some products you can use to achieve a gold eye look. You can use Tanya’s eyeshadow pencils for the daytime and her cream eyeshadows at night time. You could also choose to use the pencils as a base or the cream eyeshadows as a base. Over the top of the base you can then use one of the palette’s. Both palette’s have a glittery shadow and I’m sure it would look lovely for a christmas meal with family, with friends or even your office work party. Use Tanya’s Selfie Lash to lengthen your lashes. You can then apply falsies if you want too. I don’t wear false lashes as I feel uncomfortable wearing them. This is why I adore this mascara, you don’t need to wear false lashes. You can still have a glamorous look without all the hassle of glue, scissors and making sure there stuck on. Who wants all that christmas. I know I don’t or even during the rest of the year…

Have fun creating some gold and glittery eye looks. Take a look yesterdays Blogmas post here guys. You can see what glitter products Tanya added in her advent calendar this year…
