Chloe Lewis Beauty | Lipsticks

Who doesn’t love a NEW lipstick?

I am such a lipstick hoarder. I can honestly say that lipsticks come in at a close second on my favourite products in makeup!! (OMG I just thought of a blog post lol). Chloe Lewis started her own cosmetics line in 2017 and I was keen to get my hands on some of her lipsticks. I actually discovered her brand on Instagram when looking through the explore page. I was drawn to the crisp white and rose gold packaging. They looked so beautiful…who knew I would end up with 4 shades in my collection….

I always like to watch youtube videos and see what others think of products before placing an order. At that time there wasn’t that many videos for me to watch but I did find a few I liked. Chloe currently has 7 lipsticks for sale on her website, 1 of those being the NEW shade “Naked” which is currently SOLD OUT! I picked up 4 shades last month when Chloe had a “Buy one get one free” offer on. So in layman’s terms I got 4 lipsticks for the price of 2. I always get drawn more to a nude shade but decided to be adventurous and pick up a red shade. With Valentine’s just around the corner these shades would be beautiful for valentines makeup. Chloe has her lipsticks priced at £12.99 which is sorta between drugstore and high end. I think these are a great price especially for the quality. The video that inspired me the most when deciding whether to purchase these or not was Claudia’s review…I’ll insert it below for you to take a look if your interested….(I do not own this video nor have I made it..all rightful ownership goes to Claudia Arnold)

The 4 shades I picked up are so so gorgeous. I have always hesitated when a lipstick is red but as a one off I decided to give it a go. The other 3 shades I picked up I would say are more pinky nudes with the exception of one shade being nude/honey based. The lipsticks don’t have shade descriptions on her website just a description of the lipstick itself. The lipsticks are infused with vitamin e and also have sunscreen to protect the lips too..

Lady Love is a bright red. I always seem to love reds on others but not on me. I think it’s because I’m not used to wearing reds all the time, it’s a little bit out of my comfort zone. Although I do own red lipsticks in my collection. I really want to give this a go around Valentine’s day. It’s the perfect “Red”  for that occasion..

Berry Kiss looks a bit like a coral/pinky shade. I love this colour. I think it would look lovely throughout the summer too. You can see a hint a mauve in the shade too which is where they may have got its name from..

From T-B the swatches are Lady Love, Berry Kiss, Typically Me and Honey Honey

Typically Me is very sheer. This is more of a nude shade. You can definitely wear this day to day. I have already worn Typically me for work and it looks lovely on. It kinda adapts to your lip colour too..sorta like your lips but better…

Honey honey has to be my favourite shade out of the 4 I picked up. I love shades like this.  Anything nude or honey has me sold. When I first tried it on it reminded me of the shade “Hepburn honey” from Charlotte Tilbury (another brand I love)..

Chloe has also released makeup bags, brushes, liquid highlighters and I think she is releasing a highlighter palette too…
