A Halloween Pamper
Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year, I just love how cosy it can be surrounded by some cosy blankets, candles and the perfect scary movie! I’m also a huge fan of stopping in and binge watching all the horrors I can find. Of course you have to have a pamper on halloween night cos’ why the hell not! I’ve shared some items you can have a pamper with to make you feel all spooky and magical…
Of course you can’t start a good pamper without Twilight Shower Gel from Lush now can you!! Twilight is everyone’s favourite scent, in my opinion anyway. I wasn’t a lover of it at first but now Im hooked. Of course this year Twilight has been replaced by the Sleepy scent which is pretty much the same. You can still pick up the Twilight Sparkle Jar if your interested in the Twilight range! I do have a few Twilight shower gels left over from last halloween so Im using them up before I start using Sleepy..
One item I am excited to use is the Feather & Down Melting Shower Cream. I just love how dreamy the packaging is. The navy blue, gold and feather design is beautiful. The sound of a shower cream just melting onto the skin sounds so luxurious. Feather & Down products are infused with lavender and chamomile and are perfect before bedtime. I have wanted to try this brand for such a long time after seeing it on social media. Feather & Down also sell bubble bath, body butters and candles too so definitely check out the range! I was kindly gifted this product from Feather & Down themselves and can’t wait to try out more of their collection! *
I also love using a good face mask in the bath. Im a sucker for anything like that. I have been loving the sheet masks from Charlotte Tilbury this year. When I saw these I knew I had to give them a try. I have a few of this sheet masks which were kindly gifted to me from the Charlotte Tilbury team. The Revolutionary Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask is the perfect skincare treat to make you feel magical. As it’s Halloween you can look like Jason Vorhees or even Michael Myers in the bath, whatever floats your boat right!! *
What I also like to have handy in the bath is a good old soap. Most of my soaps are from Lush as I think they have some of the most nicest scents and design their products so well. This year you can pick up the Yog Nog Yule Log which is part of the christmas collection. With it being Halloween I love to use the Yog Nog Soap which is infused with Nutmeg, Clove Bud Oil, Shea Butter and Soya Yoghurt. I love the stars on it and it smells gorgeous in the bath too. Again I had a few left from last season so just using what I have left..
If you like your bath to come paired with a scrub you can add Scrubee from Lush!. I love exfoliating my skin when I have a pamper! Scrubee is described as a body butter but it’s still a buffer for the skin. Scrubee is shaped a little insect and it’s just the cutest, perfect for our halloween theme on the blog right! Scrubee is infused with almonds, coconut oil, shea butter and cocoa butter. It sounds amazing doesn’t it! Three words, YOU NEED IT!
Candles are a must in any Halloween pamper. You can either one in your bathroom whilst you have a soak or you can light one after a bath. I love chocolate at halloween and all through the year actually! The perfect scent this season has to be the NEW Zoella Hot Chocolate Candle from this year’s gifting range. The colours on the packaging scream autumn to me and I’ve already started burning one of these, it’s just so good!..
After a pamper in the bath you have to get all snuggle right but before you do that you need a body butter right! I have loved Sanctuary Spa products for quite some time, there available at Boots alongside their recent Being By Sanctuary Spa. I feel these collections are aimed at a younger audience merely due to the design and the kind of scents they have. When I was contacted By Being I was shocked when they said they were going to send out some products for me to try. In the parcel I got the Salted Caramel & Macadamia Body Butter. Oh my life it smells amazing! This body butter reminds me of the Palmers Products you can buy in the shops. Anything cocoa and shea butter gets a huge YES from me!! *
At the end of your pamper you need wine, hot chocolate (not together!) chocolates, marshmallows, toffee apples and a good book. One book I like to read over Halloween is The Secret by Rhonda Byrne mainly because the content is magical and you can live your best life by taking it all in. Another note the book cover is just gorgeous!! Pop on your time turner and feel like Hermoine wandering the library at Hogwarts….
Do you switch up your pamper routine to match the season??
