Absolutely love when summer comes because you can start digging out the bronze and golden shades from your make up collection!! These types of tones are my favourite come summer spring, fall or winter these are perfect must have’s in your collection. They look so effortless and scream bronze goddess…
For my eyeshadow looks I am bringing out the ColourPop pressed powders. I discovered ColourPop products last winter and not looked back since. Guys their products are amazing, if you have never tried anything from ColourPop I recommend you do. I discovered their brand through you tube channels and decided to give it a try. They are so cheap, very much like drugstore prices too!! A cheaper alternative to high end products as well. Just one of these powder pans cost just $5 dollars(just over £3 in english pounds) and there so pigmented too. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I swatched these, I was blown away by the colour intensity. You can also buy the four pan palette to put your shadows in(When Available). When I purchased the four shades above I got the palette free which was a really good deal. This was offered to customers when these pressed powder shadows were announced online….
The four pan palette contains the ColourPop shades in High Strung, Save it for Later, Let me Explain and Just In Time…
High Strung is described as a metallic dusty rose, Save it for Later is described as a metallic amber, Let me Explain is described as a metallic Ivory and Just In Time is described as a satin soft gold 😉 These shadows are so pigmented, definitely going to purchase some more. They blend really well together however all these shades are shimmers so I mainly use these as lid toppers over base and transition eyeshadow shades….
For my summer looks I love to use a cream eyeshadow as a base for my eye look. When It gets to summer I love using the Charlotte Tilbury eyes to mesmerise in the shade Bette. You can pick up the shade here. Charlotte Tilbury described these as long lasting easy cream eyeshadow, a clever cream to sheen formula that creates maximum impact with minimum effort. You can apply these with your finger or for myself I simply use a small shader brush to fill in the eyelid. You only need a tiny amount as these are so pigmented, a little will go a long way. Charlotte Tilbury described the shade Bette as a rich, burnished, amber gold tone designed to recreate those famous and powerful Bette Davis eyes. This shade is absolutely stunning worn alone or as an eye base. On Charlotte’s website she adds a small description about why you will love these cream eyeshadows…
The revolutionary water-infused formula has a cooling effect on hard working eyes
Easy glide on formula won’t drag the delicate eye area
Added Vitamin E hydrates and provided antioxidant protection from free radicals
Soft focus illuminating pigments smooth over lines and imperfections for a visibly more youthful finish
Contained within a super luxe glass jar
These cream eyeshadows are a must have in your summer looks and retail for £22..

NOW for my highlighter of the summer I absolutely love the Laura Gellar highlighter in Gilded Honey. This is by far one of my favourite highlighters as the weather warms up. Perfect for everyday, occasion, events anything really. Laura Gellar has other shades in highlighters yet this one definitely caught my eye. The stunning golden colour is perfect for a bronze/golden make up look. On Laura’s website this retails for $26 dollars. Here in the uk you can pick up this highlighter from beauty bay, qvc, debenhams, cult beauty, feel unique, look fantastic and house of fraser….

Lastly you have to choose a lipstick right, a lip colour definitely finishes the look in my opinion. I never decided what lip colour I’m going to use until I have my eye look and highlighter done. For me I like all the colours to look good together, there’s nothing worse doing a makeup look that looks out of place…so for my lipstick choice I have chosen super cindy by Charlotte Tilbury. I feel this shade is so underrated as I don’t hear many talking about this. The colour is perfect all year round and I love it in the summer. It complements a bronze/golden eye look so well. The super cindy lipstick has a matte revolution finish and it retails for £24.00. On Charlotte’s website this is described as a muted nude matte lipstick. Super Cindy is part of the Hot Lips collection that Charlotte Tilbury released. On Charlotte’s website this is described also as a muted taupey nude with warm undertones perfect for a 90’s inspired make up look..
Super Cindy is inspired by the iconic beauty Cindy Crawford for fresh faced beauty..
